I had such a great time at this restaurant — everything from the food to the service was top-notch. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Best of all, it was very reasonably priced, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hospitality really stood out. The manager, a lovely lady, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. You could tell she genuinely cared about the guests’ experience. A special touch that I really appreciated was that the chefs actually came out to speak with us. They were friendly, passionate about their food, and gave us great recommendations on what to try from the menu — and they did not steer us wrong! Overall, it was a warm, friendly atmosphere with fantastic food and great service. Highly recommend!

The interior design is beautiful and classic. Soft lighting and cleverly positioned screens so you can always keep an eye on the football. The star of the production was certainly the food and service,with courteous servers and a hefty selection of Indian food. Their menu is enormous, so plenty to choose from. The bar and bar staff are amazing friendly and so is there selection fo draft beer. With a wide range of wines and whicky and so on to also buy. They are very reasonable both by portion and quality, with the bulk of those main courses ranging between £5-15. It serves to make Goldmine an option worth returning to again and again. 5/5 stars

Brand new establishment under new management. Service was so good, staff (bar manager and owner particularly) were very friendly and welcoming. A very varied menu, price was good and the food was tasty! Nice little bar section and sky sports too. Only local so can't wait to return.

So I have been coming the gold mine of a Tuesday night for food for a good few weeks now. Never had a bad meal. But tonight, WOW, I had the coconut fish curry, something I have never tried here or anywhere else. I can only describe it as absolute food heaven. I almost cried when I finished it as I was so happy eating it. Benson the chef asked me how it was. I stood up mid meal and gave him a hug. The best meal I have ever had in my life, and am 42. UNBELIEVABLE

Goldmine is truly a gem! The ambience is warm and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The staff are absolutely lovely — attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Special mention to the chef for the outstanding dishes, especially the grilled fish — a must try! Cooked to perfection, it’s full of flavour and simply delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere.
